Cleaning Keyboard In The PC
PURPOSE :
To prevent the broken keyboard after cleaning,
to maximize the result of cleaning is done by technicial
SCOPE :
This procedure is applied for the technician in
cleaning keyboard in the PC

INSTRUCTIONS :
J Prepare a tool that is a flat screwdriver, a small brush
and a tootbrush plugs
J Disconnect the keyboard from CPU
J Pick of one by one the buttons of the keyboard by using
flat screwdriver
J After all the buttons apart, clean the surface of the
keypad buttons
J Wash thoroughly using a toothbrush, clean dry after the key
buttons
J Make sure the key switch to dry and attach it back to the
correct and sequence.
MONITORING :
J To cleaning keyboard i need 30 minutes to do it.
J And to maintain i need only one person.
CORRECTIVE ACTION :
J keyboard jammed for
pressed, caused the clust still exist in between the keyboard keys.
J cleaned with a vacuum cleaner to suck up or be cleaned
using wipes
Dampened with cleaning fluid or alcohol while
cleaning the computer is dead.
VERIFICATION AND RECORD
KEEPING :
J Technicians record the time, day,
date, the tools used and the corrective actions taken
J Recordings that have been made should have been stored for
up to one year.
